Sam Houston Suite, a large 2 room upstairs suite in the Independence House. Light and airy peach and ivory colors, with a lace curtained and canopied king-size bed in the bedroom. Fireplace and fine period antiques, including a Victorian settee and armoire in the bedroom. Separate sitting room with trundle bed (makes into 2 twins), sitting area and a second fireplace. Large bath with bidet and antique claw foot tub with shower. TV/VCR, small refrigerator, coffee en suite.
